I am not someone who finds reward in their job. I realize I need an income to exist in this society so I accept that I must sell hours of my existence to corporations. That's not what I am talking about here. I do not understand why we are expected to enjoy it. I wasn't the first to think of this, but since I've heard it it's hard for me to not to agree, and that is roughly, "Elon Musk might be history's greatest example that the idea of meritocracy is a lie."
