Ok, we're half May and the credits have been live for YOU for almost a month. Here's the rundown since April 21st:
- Daily activity credits: 12,375 earned in total for an average of 440 earned a day.
- Photo suggestions credits: 132 in total
- Video suggestion credits: 214 in total
- Reported link credits: 106 in total
- Reported photo credits: 29 in total
So in the period from April 21st to May 18th over 12,856 credits were earned.
Where we are with the credits from the old system...
This is one of our next steps. It did make it into this "sprint" (a 2 week period of planned development) however this is a rather short sprint due to the 26th being a public holiday in both the Netherlands and Germany. Everyone is taking the 27th off as well for a long weekend. Plus, the finishing touches are being put on the new VOD (video on demand) area of FreeOnes. Unfortunately the developer working on the VOD is the one who has to do the credit transfer. For those of you who are programmers, you'll understand when I say switching from one project to another unrelated one is disrupting to say the least. So we'll launch the VOD and then work on the credit transfer.
What's coming next?
First, a new reward type is being created at the moment. This one will give you credits for commenting on a babe, photo set, video, and so on. This is why when you look at the site updates post I made (linked above) there's so much about comments. While we have put in some safe guards to help prevent spam for the sake of getting credits, we know that we'll need better management. ;-D
And of course we need to create a few things for you to spend your freshly earned (and recovered) credits on! This is what I'm thinking of to start off with:
- purchase a silver freeones membership
- purchase a single photo or video download
- purchase a premium color theme that you can only get with a freeones membership at the moment
- purchase access to the content in the what's new page
In the future, we'll set it up so you can access the VOD rentals and purchases with credits. This is one of the reasons we've been working on getting it up and running!
